Ok so...... So far I have managed to keep up with my homework. I am currently taking, Motion Concepts(After Effects), Programing Logic(Javascipt), Interactive Motion Design(flash), Marketing and Media, and Art history and Design I.
In programing logic we had to do some minor conversions and then explain what the code was doin in 5 different examples the teacher provided to us. We also had to do some reading minor but essetial none the less. Complete
In Interactive Motion Desgin I had to rewrite my proposal, since this is myt second time through the class. I am not allowed to sue the same entity that was previousely used. I am thinking of going with a childrens store and have been working on the proposla for that. We also had to do some minor scripting where the obejctive was to get a scrolling text field. This was pretty simple though i must admit 1 little mistake i made cost me about 3 hours of searching for a way to correct my mistake. iam happy to say it has been corrected and I can move on. We also had to read chapters 1 and 2 in this class. Minor as well as the chapter are pretty short.
Marketing and Media we had to gather three different adds and comaplre them to each other. there is specific criteria which we need to folow to compare. This as well is done.
Art history and Design there was no assignment given at teh end of class. Our lecture was not completed in class as we ran out of time. I am happy to say they approach our teacher has taken to this class is appealing. he is presenting stories which helpo me tie the slide we are reviewing to the name. it is pretty cool.
Concpets in motion Here our assingment was to take the file we braught into class and make a 10 second animation with it. I am almost done with it it needs some helping aliong but it will be done by class start.
So all and all, so far so good. the workload has been managable. no complaints yet but its not week 5 yet.

I just saw your post on the Farm, and would urge you to rally your neighbors, and even to make a project out of saving your garden! There is a large and powerful national local-gardening movement, and the city of Mesquite needs to get with the program. Find a way to make this a web design project and start collecting neighbors and other local supporters--even guerrilla gardeners to help you publicize this! One thing I did learn from my not-so-radical hippie days is that if you get enough folks involved, things can change. Write a letter to the editor of the Dallas Morning News telling them about the problem. The big hope is in numbers, so if you have neighbors and other community activists on your side, a great deal can be accomplished. Good luck!!
